Here are some of my favorite resources available on the web on Chester County photographers and historical photography. We are pleased to include links to more biographies written by noted authors.

Did you know that when Chester County was first formed it also included what is today Lancaster County? Included is a link to the photographer’s list compiled by lancasterhistory.org. 

When you are working with your historical family photos, you need advice to preserve your collection as well as learn to identify historical photographic processes. The Library of Congress and the Image Permanence Institute at Rochester Institute of Technology offer excellent resources.
